Treatment offering

I respect the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and the Veterinary Exception Order 2015 which mean I will not treat any dog without obtaining veterinary consent.

Prior to the first treatment I require a veterinary consent form to be filled in (form below). I require this to be completed and either emailed to me prior to the first treatment or handed to me at the first treatment.

What to expect

During the initial treatment please allow up to 90 minutes. During this session I will take a full history of your dog and their lifestyle, conduct a postural and gait analysis (assessing your dog statically and during movement), conduct a full body palpation (initial muscular assessment), massage treatment and aftercare advice.

Further treatments consist of massage and are approximately 45-60minutes.

Recommended treatment plan

  • A course of one to three treatments
  • Spread across 3-5 weeks
  • Results typically seen within 1-3 sessions
  • Upon completion I write a report for your vet
  • Ongoing maintenance sessions may be necessary for long term management of conditions

Initial consultation and massage – 90 minutes – £40

All other massage treatments – 45-60 minutes – £40

if your dog is not responding to treatment in the way expected I will refer them back to the vets
for further assessment.

Treatments are conducted at my home clinic, but I can do home visits if this is best for you or your dog. A fuel charge may be applicable for home visits depending on location, but this can be agreed at the time of booking.

Payment is due before the treatment by cash or bank transfer. Please let me know of cancellation at least 24hours prior to treatment otherwise the cost of treatment may still be payable.
